Use SSH keys for Cloud Server access
Store the public key in CloudBalkan, protect the private key locally and use key-based access for Linux servers.
Public key and private key
Upload only the public key to CloudBalkan. The private key stays on the device or secure key-management system you use to connect. Never paste a private SSH key into support messages or AI Operator prompts.
Add the key
Open SSH Keys in the Control Center and add the public key you want associated with your account. Give it a name that identifies the workstation, user or automation context.
Use the key on a server
Select the key during the supported Cloud Server deployment workflow. After the server is ready, connect with an SSH client using the server address and the matching private key.
Rotate access when needed
Remove keys that are no longer trusted and replace keys when a workstation, employee or contractor no longer requires access. Account-level key inventory should be part of regular access reviews.
