Create a Cloud Server

Choose resources, an operating system image and SSH access, then let CloudBalkan prepare the server.

Before you create the server

Decide the workload, expected memory requirement and whether the server needs additional persistent Cloud Storage. Add an SSH key to your account before deployment when you plan to administer the server over SSH.

Create the resource

Open Cloud Servers in the Control Center and start a new server. Choose the available CPU, memory and system-disk configuration that fits the workload, then select the operating system image.

Network and first access

The platform connects the server to the CloudBalkan network resources required by the selected configuration. After provisioning completes, use the address and access information shown in the Control Center.

After deployment

Update the operating system, configure the application and establish a backup and recovery plan. A running Cloud Server is infrastructure; it does not automatically maintain the software installed inside it.

Still need help?

Documentation covers the standard workflow. For a live account or platform issue, contact CloudBalkan support without sending passwords, private keys or other secrets.
